I agree with the fact that we need to support the President, but not his stupidity. Obama needs to know that the people is no agree with him. If he don't know that he will not be able to do the changes that he need to do. I come from a country where the people stay quiet when the government is doing something that is wrong or that just profits some of the people manly the upper class of the country. Today, Mexico is worst that ever, and why? because people shout their mouth. So let the government and Obama know what we think.

I'm sorry, I got caught by the emotions las time i entered in my comment and I would like to make a correction.

Knowing that Socialism and Communism are not the same thing. I DO conciser my self a Socialist. It is sad seeing how people like Sara Palin and her followers working hard misleading people to make them believe that Socialism is what causes all those evil traumas that the people are afraid of. Communism is the type of regime that the American people should be afraid of. Socialism, in the other hand, has allowed for public libraries to be currently operating, for kids to be able to go to school, for everyone who pleases to travel around the U.S. cruising away in state of the art Interstate highway system. It is also see how values that should have been handed down from generation to generation from the time when the foundation of this great nation was laid down, upon principles of freedom and team work. But Freedom will be hardly reach out to everyone if corporations keep in control of the United States. So, don't blame it on Obama and his short time in office.

S-O-C-I-A-L-I-S-M is not the answer! Going into debt is not the answer! Congratulations Obama for being remember for something great! The largest deficit to ever hit the nation, and a health care "reform" which seems to only satisfy vain ambitions more than the good of the people. It is a government for the people. We need to bring back ratification in the states BY THE PEOPLE! Why doesn't Congress do this...well of course because they want to have it pass! Bummer for us!

I agree with a lot of what this article says. I think that too many people prefer to play the "ignorant" card thinking it allows them to live with a greater sense of peace. More needs to be done by us as citizens. We need to make a stand. There is strength in numbers. It was once said, "all it takes to have a corrupt world is for one or two good men to do nothing." This brings to perspective a lot of things and personally motivates me to want to do more as a citizen. It is my right, and my obligation. It is all of ours and Americans. It takes more than military alone to fight for our freedom. We need to support them on home ground! I believe in America, and we need strong people willing to take a stand!

I am constantly giving thanks on my prayers for the rich blessings I enjoy everyday. I grew up in Venezuela and moved back to the US in 2001. during my time there I was exposed to every kinds of social class that there is. The lowest are by far the scariest because there is no way out for them. They do not have access to an education that would get them ahead of the game, or government support. There is little to be done now. However, the church has swt forth some great programs that are taking root and will continue to help many families get ahead now as with the generations to come.

Even though it would take massive investment in infrastructure to accomplish, creating a nationwide network of natural gas fill-up stations for automobiles would be a big step toward energy independence. I think a lot of people would buy and use natual gas run cars if it was more convenient.

This article is solid. It is the epitome of being fed up with selfishness and greed. Someone once said that, "Tolerance to an extent becomes a vice" and that is exactly what is happening with what he was saying about drug addicts having a disease, morality, and crime. It is interesting to hear how the world has changed.
